During meticulously coordinated operations in Manipur, security personnel retrieved a stockpile of weaponry, ammunition, and warlike supplies. The Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and Manipur Police worked together to recover many bodies from Kangpokpi, Churachandpur, and Thoubal districts.
On December 2, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police executed a strategic operation in Kangpokpi district's Loiching Ridge area based on particular intelligence. The search turned up a sniper rifle, a Lathode gun, two 9mm pistols, an SBBL gun, and ammunition.
The same day, in Churachandpur district, a joint operation in Phaikhothang Village yielded a 7.62mm SLR rifle, a 12-bore single-barrel gun, a 9mm handgun, and a significant amount of warlike supplies including explosives and tactical gear.
Furthermore, two intelligence-based operations in Thoubal district on December 4 and 6, in the regions of Fungei Ching and Pechi, discovered weapons such as an SLR, a carbine machine gun, a double-barrel rifle, handguns, grenades, and other ammunition.
All recovered items were turned over to the Manipur Police for further investigation. The actions highlight security forces' commitment to regional peace and security, demonstrating flawless coordination and effective intelligence sharing among agencies.
