Indian Armed Forces conclude exercise 'Devil Strike' successfully

The Indian Armed Forces have completed Exercise Devil Strike, a high-intensity combined operation held from January 16 to January 19, 2025. This marks a significant milestone in the country's defence preparedness for the year.

According to an official announcement, the Indian Army's elite airborne troops and the Indian Air Force collaborated to exhibit flawless coordination, operational proficiency, and readiness to tackle demanding scenarios. The exercise, across Training Areas and Firing Ranges, verified complicated airborne operations.

These included precision troop and equipment insertion into hostile terrains, using advanced parachuting techniques and equipment, and testing sophisticated logistical sustainment methods under extreme conditions, such as rapid deployment and supply chain management.

Key accomplishments were using cutting-edge technologies for precise and efficient troop distribution, coordinated airborne drills demonstrating Army-Air Force synergy, and successfully executing mission scenarios that simulated real-world obstacles.

Lieutenant General Zubin A Minwala, AVSM, YSM, GOC 33 Corps, lauded the participating units' professionalism and adaptability, noting, "Exercise Devil Strike demonstrates our Armed Forces' ability to innovate, adapt, and operate cohesively under diverse operational conditions." It reinforces our determination to protect national security."

This exercise considerably improved joint operational capabilities, bolstering the Indian Armed Forces' ability to counter emerging threats and protect national interests.
